Picked is a vintage clothing shop located in Tallahassee, FL. We specialize in vintage Florida State clothing, but offer a wide selection of general vintage items ranging in age from the 1940’s to the 2000’s.
We opened in October of 2021, but the vision for the business began years before that. Our owner, Doug (an FSU grad) had been buying and selling antiques and collectibles for over 10 years. One day, while out on the hunt for old treasures he came across a vintage Florida State sweatshirt and the rest is history.
Our standard for the products we offer is extremely high. 95% of items available in our store are second hand, and when we get them, they have the marks and stains to prove it. We meticulously clean each piece of clothing, so by the time it hits the shelf, it’s as clean as it’s been since it was first sold years prior. We also hand measure every vintage item we sell. After being washed and dried, almost every piece of vintage you find fits smaller than what the original size tag says. We eliminate the guessing game by hand measuring and noting the modern day sizing of each garment.
Our goal has been, and always will be, finding and creating clothing that tell stories, and sharing those stories with our community. Clothing is a way for us to tell the world what is important to us, what we care about. We want to uncover these forgotten pieces of clothing, give them a second life, and get them into the hands of people they mean something to.
